Celebrated for his soulful and unique sound, guitarist Scott Verbeek blends funky grooves with fresh melodies that both captivate and challenge his audience. His 2021 release ‘Katana’ blends funk/fusion grooves and lyrical melodies with a heavy emphasis on improvisation.
Since graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2013, Scott as been gigging relentlessly with his signature red guitar all over Vancouver and throughout North America. He has written/performed/recorded with The Hamiltones, Five Alarm Funk, Warren Dean Flandez, Dawn Pemberton, Tonye Aganaba, Kutapira, Katherine Penfold and many more.
